GS qualification is different than normal status qualification. This is the place to learn more about how GS works in UA

Unlike other status levels, UA generally does not do mid-year promotions to GS. New GS are usually done in early mid-January
And total PQPs is not the metric for GS, but rather dollars spend on UA operated flights. Which would relate to
PQPs on UA operated flights. If north of $50K on UA operated flights there is a good chance you will receive notification in a few weeks.
Corprorate contacted GS or companion GS do exist but the bulk of the GS on this forum earned the traditional way.
