Pretty sure that on RTW tickets SQ has to do the piece concept. As for multi-segment tickets with stops - I would concur that the MSC rule is separate each time. We often have SQ legs (do again in 2 days) with weight applied for SQ segments. I can see the complexity if you have 2 non-status FQTV in Business from Europe then a stop in SIN with onward on SQ - - they could get caught with weight issues. However, 2x Business on SQ plus both gold is a pretty good allowance - at least as much as I would actually want to carry on a vacation.
