Baggage connection at LHR - recent experience?
My partner and I are booked in Club Europe from EDI to RAK on the 29th. We have a 90 minute connection at LHR.

I’m wondering whether I should try to cram all of my stuff from a six week trip into two carry-on bags (one of which will then be over sized), or take my chances on connecting baggage at T5.

Does anyone have any recent experience? I know we have a legal connection time, but Heathrow is a bit of a worry.
