I’ll simply address the Expertflyer question. You can’t rely on how they have the seat classified. Sometimes they are blocked, other times it’s taken. I’ve never seen consecutive qsuite window seats blocked by the airline, so Qatar is likely not bluffing, those have been taken by other customers. The interior seats are a different story, especially rear facing. Those are generally always blocked for itineraries of two or more. I live Expertflyer, so it’s not a knock against them, I just wouldn’t put too much stock in their classifications.
