Alright, wish me luck. Just bought a economic ticket for Porto-Madrid, Madrid-Brussels on 30.12. Not bad considering it was EUR 190 for 2 people.

Ticket reads as CLASS: NOBAG, T which I understand is eligible to get miles and XP

Fun fact: I initially registered to the Air Europa website and was not able to enter my FB number, so I tried to buy the tickets as a guest and I was able to do so.

Will report back on how many miles and XP I got, and when they were credited.
