When my daughter, who is now 32 and the mother of my two granddaughters, was in about 3rd grade she attended a school where the principal would not allow the students to run on the playground. When I questioned him he told me that they could fall down and scrape their knees. I said something to the effect of isn't that what children are supposed to do?

"Oh, no, we don't want children getting hurt."

He didn't last too much longer in that school system.

People can be so stupid.
