I used Internet check-in for an Amsterdam-originating flight a few weeks ago. I got the boarding card OK and was able to print it to PDF but did not manage to print it to paper as I didn't manage to get access to a printer.

Went to the self-service check-in machine and got a message saying something like "You are already checked in, do you want another copy of your boarding pass?" Selected "yes", and ten seconds later I had the boarding card in my hand.

So... all being well it should work for you too!
