I'm therefore not seeing it in "My Trips" and unable to select seats for free with Platinum status. Is that how it works or is there a way around this? Thanks!
I always send AA a DM on Twitter - with my name, AA flight #, and Aadvantage #. I ask them to please change the frequent flyer account info from BA to AA. It's always done within a couple of hours and then I can see the flights on my AA account and access the better seat selection.
