LAS usually around 9.5 hours, which leaves just over 4 hours to deliver two hot services. If first service took over 2 hours especially in Club World, this may not leave enough time for second service.
Now I don't agree with cutting the service and there are different ways of managing this- but the discretion is at the SCCM on how to make it work to achieve the breaks- as the breaks are a legal requirement (industrial or otherwise) and the onus is on the SCCM to ensure this is adhered to. The company line is that the SCCM needs to manage this however they need to adapt the service.
On top of that we are still sending flights with reduced crew complements due to disruptions.
Don't have an issue if that's the case and I'm sure everyone (well the majority) would rather go minus 2nd snack/meal than not go.
Good to Me in this situation is ne straight about it, excellent looks like telling PX in advance before boarsing if possible so they can make arrangements to take something with them.
However the 'short flight' excuse (assuming ignis as reported) is blatantly a lie and thats not acceptable.
