JFK-LHR

Things didn't start well on this flight as there was no pre-departure drink served, perhaps because we were running slightly behind schedule. Once in the air, the bar service commenced without nuts, as a fellow passenger had a severe nut allergy. I wasn't interested in nuts anyway, opting for a Baileys-infused hot chocolate. This was a little slow to arrive.
My dinner tray came with a white bread roll pre-placed, unlike the choice from the basket that is usually offered (when the three-in-one bread isn't being served).
The lime labneh and farro salad was offered to everyone and came pre-placed on the tray. This was fresh and well flavoured.
My starter of sliced roast beef was decent, although the beef was a little rare for my liking.
The cod masala was an excellent choice, as 'curry' dishes usually are at 35,000ft.
For dessert, I opted for both the comforting (and warm) raspberry and peach Cinnabon bread and butter pudding and the fresh seasonal fruit, served with a peppermint tea and chocolate.
The crew member apologised for the appearance of the bread and butter pudding saying it had collapsed when being plated, but if she hadn't have mentioned it, I wouldn't have known.
I rarely have the hot option for breakfast on a short overnight flight; this flight was no exception, with my just taking the coconut chia pudding (which is offered to all passengers and pre-placed on the breakfast tray). This was good, although the granola looked a little cheap in its plastic pot. Sadly the orange juice was not fresh, contrary to the menu.
This was another good flight with BA in Club World, where the catering is once again something the airline can, generally, be proud of.
