I have to totally agree with this quote! In an emergency, holding your child in your lap will not keep the child safe. An impact will throw your child from your arms. Also, you should not keep the child between yourself and the seatbelt. If the plane needs to come to an emergency stop, your weight will push up against the seatbelt, with your child between you and the seatbelt. The safest place for a child, any age is in a car seat. Just like a car!
