That said, I still think this is extremely worrisome because as OP stated Hilton corporate updated their T&C this past week to update their breakfast policy to remove free breakfast for properties outside the USA. It seems like it hasn't been updated across all web pages like the myway benefits but I suspect it could be coming soon. If I was OP I would screenshot this webpage and fight to be grandfathered in https://www.hilton.com/en/hilton-honors/benefit-terms/ as others have said it still includes breakfast at Waldorf properties outside the USA. I suspect that this webpage https://www.hilton.com/en/p/hilton-h...ives-benefits/ hasn't been updated in a while but they are trying to say given the nature of the Maldives' properties, they don't really have upgrade rooms so instead they offer the following benefits. Given the cost of these properties, and that you are basically stuck on the island for the week, I suspect that if global free breakfasts was to go away for the Waldorf/Conrad brands that it will be added as a perk for these properties, at least I would hope so given there are no real alternatives.

As others have said, I would suspect that this amazing Waldorf will continue to off breakfast, but from a larger picture, it could be foreshadowing an update to other non-US Hilton properties. I hope that I'm wrong but it seems to be the writing on the wall. Good luck and hope you update us on how your stay was! Already dreaming of a 3rd visit back.
