PDB service of water, orange juice or champagne (which I think was actually prosecco, so I passed) was offered on boarding, in a plastic 'glass'.
Once in the air, a bar service with a significant quantity of warm nuts was served promptly; my choice was a sparkling water.
My starter (of which there was no choice) of paprika-lemon chicken was a bit grisly, but nicely flavoured. The accompanying side salad of seasonal greens was an unnecessarily huge portion overflowing the plate.
I had pre-ordered the miso saba roasted sea bass for my main course. Despite appearances, this was nicely cooked and well flavoured.
Are you even flying AA if you don't opt for the traditional ice cream sundae for dessert? Mine worked especially well with a Baileys-infused coffee.
The fresh fruit bowl was a decent enough breakfast, although I'd have liked a little more granola.
In summary, not a bad dining experience in Flagship Business, although now that BA have returned their Club World service to essentially pre-pandemic levels, they offer the more polished edge.
