Passengers may be passing through the border quickly, but you should not assume that there has not been significant disruption to the other functions of UKBF, the Home Office, or indeed the armed services. Nor should you assume that people presenting at the border are being assessed harassed to the same standards.
What I think doesn't really matter, but I question the value of border force "assessments" at the airport. People should have been assessed before even setting foot on a plane and UKBF main purpose should be to ensure that a) documents are valid and b) the person presenting themselves at the border correspond to the documentation. Pretty sure that the training required to perform these two tasks shouldn't be too complex.
