Thank you. My purchase was on Delta: DL232 MSP to CDG and DL 8705 (AF217) CDG to BOM. I have in similar situations before and never had issues getting EU 261 compensation. Will file with Air France. However, I surprised with the new interpretation that Delta agent made based on some ruling in December 2019, that if a you are traveling from non EU to non EU but connecting in EU, 261 regulations do not apply. Just trying to check if that is correct and something new.
