Fortunately, Bruce, I believe that several school districts have come to realize that the policy of zero tolerence is idiotic, as it was in this case. It's taken lawsuits to make some of them come to their senses, especially in the case of elementary schools. Some school district administrators are finally beginning to recognize that young children don't think like they, who are alleged to be adults, do.
