The mechanism to bump you for staff travel doesn't exist at this point in the process, as has been pointed out: seats are not assigned for staff travel until the flight is closed. Personally I'd call BA and ask what has happened, and see if it can be fixed (or accepted). The seats are blocked so presumably the reason for the block is available somewhere, there may even be someone here who can look it up. As has also been pointed out, inop seats can be assigned to staff if they agree to take them.

It's difficult not to feel personally slighted when these things happen, but there are any number of reasons why it's probably not enemy action, and very few indeed to suggest it is. Anyway I hope it's a better flight than this and some other posts you've made suggest you're worried it will be.
