Also, it is AA ( and AS ) who doesn't want their own non-CK elites to not be able to access lounges on domestic itineraries for revenue purposes selling club memberships ( or credit cards ) and probably due to cost savings, they don't want CK's to access the Chelsea Lounge when not flying on a Flagship or long-haul Hawaii route.

BA has nothing to do with this and GGL's and Premier's should not be affected because AA wants to make more revenue from people.
