Got in touch with Flying Blue on messenger, and they followed up with the back-end team:
Turns out it's only a one-way transfer from Hilton to Miles, even though the FB website says it goes both ways
(props to a quick resolution over chat!)

I guess I will donate the miles to charity, as I'm not ordering a pen for 3000 miles
