As mentioned before the TSA in ORD just scans your passport/ID and doesn't even look at the boarding pass. The polaris lounge wardens make you scan your boarding pass and let you in if the 'computer says yes' Note that it is quite a hike back to T5 from T1C, so budget enough time. Also note that T5 has been expanded and now hosts DL, so it can get quiet crowded at T5 security.
