Yes BA has rebooking guidelines for this event - if on a Air Nostrum flight you can move it now, even if it seems to be operating at the moment; if it's cancelled then the usual -3 to +14 days is allowed for rebooking in the same cabin, longer if you find another date with the same booking class.
Sorry, I don't think my query was very clearly phrased! - my booking is IB (with YW flights coded as IB), what I was wondering is if I could move to BA flights via LHR (connecting XXX-LHR-YYY) instead of IB/Air Nostrum via MAD (XXX-MAD-YYY where MAD-YYY is IB-coded and YW-operated).
