Good morning. I'm booking an AA award on Jet Blue Metal for my son who doesn't have status. It won't allow me to pick a seat on JB when making award booking and says I need to contact JB. I want to make sure I do this correctly. Is it necessary to put JB frequent flyer number in initial reservation? (As I have it on hold I don't think I can modify frequent flyer number) After I make the reservation, is it possible to book JB seat online or on app or do I need to call JB by phone?
