Well, UA's team is keeping busy posting quite a few waivers - some that were added today (12/19/2022) and others that were from some days before.
Since UA's Jetstream Travel Waiver page (
https://jetstream.united.com/#/all-travel-waiver) is showing them, I thought it might be good to get an idea of just how may airports that UA services are currently listed as covered by travel waivers as of this time.
Here are the ones active today:
These 8 waivers encompass 148 airports worldwide, 'tho 142 of them are specifically in CONUS (Continental United States or the lower 48).
Out of 342 airports served by United Airlines currently, that's over 43% of them now covered by a waiver.
For FlyerTalkers who'll be taking flights on United these next few days, keep a close eye on those flights as well as what's happening in the U.S. National Airspace as managed by the FAA (
https://nasstatus.faa.gov/) and what's in the FAA's Operations Plan as they too predict what might happen on an hourly/near real time basis.
