I'm sorry, what is the "FL number?" I've had inconsistent results with requesting my United number to replace the TK frequent flyer number on the reservation. It's been wholly dependent upon the competence of the UA agent. One tip that seems to help is having United remove the "Mister" etc. title from your name on the reservation.
