I think its because they’ve had to vertically squeeze it in above the blue belly. Removing the blue belly for the oneworld jet’s and increasing the font size would likely have made a huge difference.
Qatar Airways removed the grey from their oneworld jets fuselage, presumably to prevent this kind of mess.
