A note on upgrades, can confirm Globalists still aren’t upgraded to “Deluxe Room with a view”, only tiny rooms facing the runway on 3rd and 4th floors that are largely blocked by the Compass Centre in terms of views.

If you’re just having a quick layover here and doesn’t care about views then ask for 5th floor “Deluxe” rooms on the west side. They’re labeled as standard rooms but with the same layout as those deluxe ones (i.e. larger with a separate desk area). I’ve been allocated one of those rooms previously as an Explorist, and in theory any member can be given one of those rooms. Just checked in as a GB and not satisfied with the painfully tiny room with half of the views blocked, I immediately returned and asked for one of those rooms instead, and I’ve been given the exact same room as last time as an EX. At least breakfast is free!
