I don't hear about Air Europa aircraft changes as much as I do with Iberia, but be aware that Air Europa would be fully within their rights to swap out the 788 for a short-haul jet. Factor that into your planning...

And, yes, the Internet in general favours negative reviews. A normal, straightforward flight is rarely written about - especially by frequent flyers... The handful of times I flew on Air Europa... it was ok.
