Not sure what to make of this rumour David, especially as SQ public affairs is not publicly commenting on anything? It seems to me this is all a bit pointless until an on-the-record interview is done with the Customer Experience team.

like SMK77, I’ve also seen the 779 products but obviously will not be making any comment about what they may or may not look like as I am covered by an NDA, other than to say I’d be very pleased if they make it onto the A359 fleet. I asked at the time, more than three years ago now, whether there were any plans to do that, but at that stage they were non committal. Let’s hope they’ve firmed up on that plan now while Boeing sorts out its many woes.

Separately - or perhaps related to this rumour - I understand First Class / Suites demand is through the roof and they are looking at ways to increase First Class across the network. Let’s see, but it’s good to see SIA doing so well commercially at the moment.
