If I reduce the reservation down from 6 nights to 5 nights, will my 5 nights be repriced?

I did a search on FT and saw older threads (from 2014/2015) mentioning they were repriced (ended up paying more) when changing the points reservation. Not sure if that rule has changed over the years. Thanks.
If it is sold out, it is quite likely that if you cancelled and tried to rebook there would be no inventory or at least no reward inventory. You can't reduce it since there is no other inventory. Just keep it as it is. Keep looking to see if some other inventory, possibly cancellations, show up. Otherwise just take the one night points loss.
