We're considering Air Europa between MAD and AMS, largely because for our dates it lists a 788 with lie flat seats in J. It seems most of the posts here on UX are rather negative, including numerous stories about heavily delayed (or even cancelled) flights. However, looking at statistics, it seems fine. Air Europa UX 1093 On-Time Performance Rating (flightstats.com) and Air Europa UX 1098 On-Time Performance Rating (flightstats.com) There are also complaints about poor service, but for me seat and schedule heavily outweigh service on a 2-1/2 hour flight.

Am I missing something? Is this just a case of people with bad experiences post and people with good experiences don't?
