Wow….that’s a miserable trip home for the holidays! Depending on the reason for the delay out of ZRH you would be entitled to a boat load of compensation based on your ultimate arrival time in YYC. Maybe someone on here has access to tools to uncover the reasons for the delay to help you as I am sure AC will blame everything on some generic reason or other and try to avoid paying (although sometimes they do come through as well).
