I have a 6 night reservation made with points for late Dec/early January travel and am thinking to reduce it down to 5 nights. The hotel is completely sold out during my travel dates even for cash booking.

If I reduce the reservation down from 6 nights to 5 nights, will my 5 nights be repriced?

I did a search on FT and saw older threads (from 2014/2015) mentioning they were repriced (ended up paying more) when changing the points reservation. Not sure if that rule has changed over the years. Thanks.
