Got to spend a weekend on safari and stopped to have dinner with an offspring at the Connaught. Netted a boatload of miles with BA's generous bonuses, and had no qualifying worries for the rest of the year!
I must say if you can snag a cheapish F/A class fare on BA - its the greatest way to get most of the way to 100k - say two Rt to europe can get you over halfway there.
