I figured it out, will share in case it helps others.
I want business class, however there is literally one day a month, if that, where there is availability for my route. If there is no availability or minimal (and not sure what the parameters are) then the calendar will error. But there is some intermittent coach availability, so I set my search for coach, then I can access the calendar, and from there I filter for business/first and it shows me the very few dates there is something.
