Stayed here recently and very disappointed when compared to the other Conrads I've stayed at this year. The Osaka one we just came from was miles ahead of what I've experienced here.
Checked in as a Hilton Diamond member under the Impresario program. Was told there was no available upgrades even though the app was wanting me to pay 8,000-20,000 a night to upgrade. Was not offered a paid upgrade at the desk which I probably would have taken if it was similar to the previously mentioned offers in this thread. They also told me that I could not stack the $100 USD Impresario credit with the 25% off Dine Like a Member promotion they're running. That's a weird rule because I haven't had any issues stacking the 2 at Singapore, Bali, or Osaka.
Was informed at check-in I needed to make a reservation for evening drinks. I did make a reservation and they wrote it down on a piece of paper but somehow when I went for it they couldn't find the reservation. Another problem I ran into is both of our room keys just suddenly stopped working after the second day. I had to go down to the lobby and get new keys re-issued which took an extra 15 mins out of my day for problems I shouldn't have to deal with.
Rooms are smaller than Osaka and the view is worse unless you get a bay view room which I did not. Breakfast is worse than Osaka as well. Very average, not much of an offering and something I expect from a Hilton and not a Conrad. That goes for the overall soft product though. Just a lower quality feel and something I expect better of when I stay at a Conrad. This is also something Conrad Osaka did much better. By the second day the Osaka desk knew me and was helping me out with things. I've hardly been talked to by the employees of this hotel.
Location is just average. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and you can get around from there.
Overall I got a decent deal booking through Impresario months ago so I'm not gonna worry about it too much, but if I didn't have so much to pack up and move around I would probably have tried changing hotels after the first night or two. I'd echo the post above in that it was just a very average stay and I have come to expect better than average when choosing to stay at a Conrad hotel.
