For my return flight I am booked in the second exit row (16D), and I'm now wondering if I would get more legroom there than in First, so am considering canceling my "requested upgrade." Is anyone able to compare the two? It's just a two-hour flight, so the putative service enhancements I would receive in F don't mean much to me, I care more about the seat.
I find the first row of bulkhead (8A in this situation) much better than the exit rows. The exit rows have a little extra legroom, but they also have a noticeably smaller seat cushion. I would say the exit rows have about the same leg room as first. I would also still take the first seat because it is considerably wider.
