To get from the airport regional train station to the Hampton buy a “Short trip” ticket for 1.60€ from any RMV ticket machine. S8/S9 trains towards Frankfurt city run every 15 minutes and the trip to Gateway Gardens takes 2 minutes. Exit the station towards Bessie-Coleman-Straße and it’s an easy 5-minute walk to the Hampton.





Staff seem to be more geared up than last time I was there, e.g. about Gold and Diamond benefits (a bottle of drink and a snack), elevator scanners seem to work better and my room was spotlessly clean. There’s a REWE supermarket and a decent Italian restaurant within a few minute walk of the hotel.
