several years ago staff assigned a Chrysler to me at the airport...as the driver did not immediately turn on the meter, I asked and the driver told me, that it would be 30 SGD for the ride to my hotel, which was usually between 15-20...I refused and the driver drove me to a taxi queue at another terminal, where I took a normal taxi. on 2-3 other occasions, I noticed that the staff at the taxi queue tried to assign a chrylser or benz again to me, while locals in the queue got a normal one...of course I refused asap and got a normal one..
