As my flight pattern is stable and I can get the 2000 points every year, would I be better off not qualifying in 2023? If I then do it in 2024 and the following years, I'd get two in 2025 and two im 2026 for a total of six. Or do I get two per year "on top" if I (virtually) qualify in 2024, 25 and 26?
If I were you, I would definitely wait until December 24. Meanwhile enjoy your Senator and smile! You can always fly double at a later stage even the last two months before your status expires.
I am in the same situation, but will definitely do nothing until early 2025.
