LH cancelled CLT_MUC on Wednesday, and I could not find a seat on UA/ or LH until Friday (yesterday). I was worried about weather in EWR, but the flights were delayed and my passengers made it. I too had a hard time finding 2 seats (plenty of space for 1..but not two).

I am so sorry your flight was cancelled..this time of year is awful. How many seats are you looking for?

Many here are giving great advice! Always and constantly check for cancellations and book when you see something. LH/UA/Air Canada maybe...
