FWIW, it's not uncommon for airline crew rates to exclude HH benefits. When a property and a carrier negotiate a rate, they will also negotiate whether or not loyalty program benefits are included. The carriers want dirt cheap rates and a lot of times it's not worth it for the property to also be paying for HH benefits on top of accepting comparatively low rates. I've worked at properties where US Air, American, Air Tran and ATI crews stayed at different times and only ATI paid enough to have HH benefits apply to their employees.
