Yes, definitely keep checking. There's now a weather waiver in effect for Germany so people will be moving their flights around a lot. Be prepared to pounce when you see something open, if it works for your schedule. Of course a lot of upcoming travel is holiday related so there will be less people moving flights than normal IMO - but it does still happen all the time. Plus IAD is a major hub with a ton of misconnects, sometimes way in advance as people from the west coast get rerouted through ORD/EWR/IAH/DEN. Keep a keen eye out.
