Hoping that someone has experience with my situation. Arrive in DEL from ORD with UA at 9:25PM. Then have a layover until 7:00AM where I leave on AI to KTM so 9.5 hour layover. I will have a checked bag and that is where my concern comes in. I spoke with United and they assured me that the bag word be checked through to KTM and that I would not need to retrieve in DEL and recheck even though the layover is “overnight”. So wanted to see if anyone had taken similar flights and run into any issues having their checked bags transferred. Thank in advance.
