Flew VS for the first time ever last week and was excited about it, even if I was flying in Y. The route was CPT-LHR, probably VS' longest, scheduled 11h55 daylight, in Economy Delight. It was a letdown. The hard product is good, that's true. But the catering seems to me to be, however, probably the worst - or at least one of the worst - among full service Western European airlines. In quality, quantity, and presentation. Especially for an airline which markets itself as a premium airline and which partners with DL, AF, and KL. I'm a very frequent flyer of the latter three and found VS' catering truly appalling by comparison.
