We’re connecting through SEA later this month and on our return in January for our honeymoon which I will shamelessly mention when we check in on the minuscule chance it could get us a transfer. My better half would be delighted (also considering VIP select just for fun).
I have had 5 at SEA and one at LAX (and zero elsewhere). On one of my rides in 2019 I was talking to the driver about how it had happened so many times there and he told me that SEA was definitely the easiest - based on the number of cars/drivers available at the airport vs the number of elites connecting there.
I think he said that there were 3 (might have been 4) Porsches in SEA, but only one at SLC (someone recently told me that there are more there now). LAX and ATL had 5 at the time, I think. and JFK 4, but those all support *many* more connections and many more elites. He gave me the numbers for DTW and MSP too, but I have forgotten what he said about them. 3 each springs to mind, but that might be wrong.
I frequently take the 5:30am flight out of PDX to connect to the 8am bank out of SEA, and I think that all but one of my rides has been on that early morning connection. So, (based on my limited sample size) I feel that connecting at off peak times on weekdays probably improves chances at SEA.
