I am looking for folks with experience accessing or being denied access to a VS Clubhouse in LHR and the shared lounge that VS uses in DEL.

Platinum Medallion flying purchased Economy Classic/Main Cabin on all segments
DL flight number on VS metal ATL to LHR then LHR to DEL.
Returning DL flight number on VS metal DEL to LHR then DL metal LHR to ATL.

As best as I can tell from this International Partner & SkyTeamŽ Benefits | Delta Air Lines I should have access to a VS Clubhouse in LHR in both directions.

Just looking for a warm fuzzy because of a bad experience not finding the fine print a few years back on not being able to access the KLM lounge in AMS because my onward flight was on Jet Airways. Maybe there is fine print about whose metal I am flying regarding the VS Clubhouse. Or not.

Also while according to the VS web site Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses | Airport Lounges | Virgin Atlantic the DEL lounge is currently closed does anyone here have experience when it is open either being granted access or denied access as a Delta Platinum Medallion on an itinerary flying in the back of the plane like mine? My experience has been that while DL does not grant access to Platinum Medallions to third-party lounges both AF and KL do. How about VS?
