I don't know if this has been mentioned already or not, but PF Chang's has a QR code on their receipts which when scanned will allow you to pay with Google Wallet or Apple Pay. I tried it and it worked really well. It seems like a much cheaper solution than Ziosk or Presto devices on every table.
QR can work okay
if implemented well. Unfortunately a lot of places don't seem to (for example, Buffalo Wild Wings as previously mentioned).
Also, a few handheld terminals for the servers would likely be less expensive than Ziosks, too, but apparently guests don't like those so here we are.
