While I don't like the combining of Golds and Diamonds into a "priority" line, it didn't seem to matter as the vast majority were Diamond anyways.

The priority line was also the longest line. Many people decided to bug out of that line into "regular" lines and got checked in well before "priority" members.

This is in stark contrast to, say, 5-6 years ago when there was a dedicated Diamond desk and I could and did just walk up to get checked in within a minute or two.
