When you checked EF, how many seats were left to sell in Y and J? I'm looking at 12/20 and I do see P/W is zero'd out. Business has 4 left, F has 0 and Coach is wide open. So they may well roll up 4 PE passengers to J to free up space for oversells.
The 955am flight has open inventory in all classes. If you're flexible call and ask for seats on your flight in the class you paid for.
