Looks like Buffalo Wild Wings went the Web portal route too. (I seem to remember them using tablets before.) I say "web portal" and not QR because apparently you have to give the server your phone number first so you can be texted the URL to pay.
I don't know if this has been mentioned already or not, but PF Chang's has a QR code on their receipts which when scanned will allow you to pay with Google Wallet or Apple Pay. I tried it and it worked really well. It seems like a much cheaper solution than Ziosk or Presto devices on every table.
